Thank you very much for your time and guidance during our recent visit to your studio. It was a learning experience indeed. Please let me know if you have any plans to organize workshops on topics covering depth of field, portrait and group photography. The intention is to move from basic to advanced.

Love it to bits. Shamed to say as we only bought it 3 days before we left we stayed on auto for the duration of the hols.
We have just bought Photoshop CS4 (CS3 no longer available in Q it seems) so this is our next learning curve.
A friend of mine is buying the Canon D1000. I went out shooting yesterday and quite frankly, I'm disappointed with the results. Took many shots at the Al Kor harbour in manual mode with the new lens and UV filter; experimented with various f-stop settings and everything seems to be slightly overexposed. This became apparent after viewing the shots in PS Elements and making the various corrections whereafter ... Lenses include a 50mm f/1.4 prime, 14-24mm f/2.8 wide angle, 24-70mm f/2.8, 70-300 and 80-400mm zooms. With the full-frame sensor on the D3 I have no bonus distance on the lenses, but it is nice to have the full wide angle available at 14mm. My studio consists of 2x 1600w and 2x 800w Alien Bees studio lights, with a giant softbox and a couple of umbrellas. I also have a background stand with various background patterns ...
