What are the 'GPU' thingys they won't let us have and have you ever come across this and I can't find any ...

Hi Nico,
Thank you very much for your time and guidance during our recent visit to your studio. It was a learning experience indeed. Please let me know if you have any plans to organize workshops on topics covering depth of field, portrait and group photography. The intention is to move from basic to advanced.

Thanks and Regards

Bought Canon D50 with 18-200mm lense plus 50mm lense.
Love it to bits. Shamed to say as we only bought it 3 days before we left we stayed on auto for the duration of the hols.
We have just bought Photoshop CS4 (CS3 no longer available in Q it seems) so this is our next learning curve.
A friend of mine is buying the Canon D1000. How does this rate against the (modern version) panasonic equivalent in your opinion?

Took many shots at the Al Kor harbour in manual mode with the new lens and UV filter; experimented with various f-stop settings and everything seems to be slightly overexposed. This became apparent after viewing the shots in PS Elements and making the various corrections whereafter ...
